equipment category has been added to BulkLoads. Load posters can now post freight specifically under the Dump Truck category, fully separating it from End Dump listings. Carriers can also identify and display that they run a dump truck when posting available trucks or updating their profile.

In Simple Terms:

We’ve split End Dump and Dump Truck into two unique equipment types.

This means:

Shippers and brokers can post Dump Truck-specific loads
Carriers running dump trucks can now show up only for the right loads
Profiles and posted trucks reflect equipment type more accurately

How to Use It:

When posting a load, select Dump Truck under equipment type.
When posting a truck, choose Dump Truck so the system matches you with compatible freight.
Carriers can also update their profile equipment list to include “Dump Truck.”

Why It Matters:

This update creates better separation between End Dump and Dump Truck freight—ensuring both load posters and carriers connect faster with the right equipment type. It improves match accuracy, search relevance, and overall marketplace efficiency across BulkLoads.
